Sunday Series 9.15.2024
For my most loyal readers and those of you who do not subscribe to or check Substack, I’ve decided to bring my weekly newsletters back to the OG source.
We have lots to cover this Sunday so let’s just dive right in.
First off, I stayed up until 1 a.m. last night binging Emily in Paris to catch up! Naturally, I immediately texted my girlfriends about booking a trip to Paris this fall, so consider that in the works. I haven’t been back since I was pregnant with June (read: 6 years). I used to go several times a year for Fashion Week, but I retired from that whole scene after having my kids. With an official trip to Paris penciled in on the books for late fall, I’m walking around with a big pep in my (excitement) step.
My New Bag
I realized I was missing an easy, everyday black bag. For some reason, my collection of small to medium lightweight black bags that go with everything is limited. I had my eye on The Row raffia tote since it first launched, but to be honest, the price tag felt steep for a straw tote. Fast forward a few months, and there I was, standing in The Row store, face-to-face with the bag—and a $1K credit burning a hole in my pocket. So, I took the plunge. And honestly, I’m so glad I did. I’ve carried it every day since, and it truly goes with everything. If the price makes you wince, don’t worry—I’ve found some more affordable alternatives. But if you’re considering it, let me just say: she’s worth every penny. Also cute: J.Crew, Tuckernuck and Bembien
Above: Onitsuka Tiger Sneakers, Jenni Kayne Sweater (code JACEY15), The Row Raffia Tote, Proenza Schouler Skirt, Isabel Marant Jacket (great look for less here from J.Crew)
Side Sleeper Pillow Heaven
Without getting in to the weeds of explaining this, I’m just going to leave this link right here for all of those inquiring minds about the side sleeper pillow I was raving about on social media.
Below: Aqua Cardigan that I also purchased in red (size small), AMO Sandra Baggy Jeans (size down), Adidas Sambas

Fall Must Have
Since we’ve all already added a Barn Jacket to our closets, it’s time to up the ante with a suede one. After I spotted this suede jacket on the H&M website I made a special in-store visit where I found one in stock. I am so obsessed and if you have a local H&M run, don’t walk, to see if they have one available. It’s the perfect price and style for what I consider to be this season’s hottest trend – suede! Here are a few additional favorites: Reformation, BGSD Brand, love this luxe Veronica Beard one, ba&sh is cute too!
Speaking of fall, here are a few items from my Pinterest page

Last but not least …
I’m about halfway through The Power of Less, and I have to say it’s the best book I’ve read in quite some time. After feeling a bit burned out on self-help books this year, I found this one to be exactly what I needed while peeling away layers in my life that no longer serve me. It perfectly captures how I want to live moving forward. While it doesn’t necessarily tell us anything we don’t already know, it serves as a practical guidebook that I keep turning to, day after day.
Final note:
I’m buying these
