All You Need to Know About Costco Black Friday’s Sale
Costco shoppers get ready! Your favorite warehouse retailer has revealed its Black Friday sale plans – and the savings are already here.
As it’s done in past years, Costco has expanded upon the standard Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale dates to create an entire month of holiday savings. Here are the key dates and details you need to know.

- Nov. 1 – 17: Holiday Savings begin
- Nov. 18 – Dec. 2: Holiday Savings round #2
- Nov. 28: Online-only shopping,Thanksgiving Day
- Nov. 29 – Dec. 2: Black Friday sale
- Dec. 2: Online-only deals, Cyber Monday sale
Now that you’ve got the dates down, let’s move on to the deals. While we don’t know every single deal that will be available online or in a Costco warehouse this Black Friday, the warehouse retailer did share several of the saving opportunities that will be coming up this November and the early days of December.

Nov. 1 – 17: Holiday Savings Round #1
Be on the lookout for discounts on the pantry essentials you need to prepare your Thanksgiving dinner, as well as deals on home goods (to prep your home for guests!), top tech gadgets and more.
Nov. 18 – Dec. 2: Holiday Savings Round #2
A handful of Costco’s deals will be available from Nov. 18 through to the end of Costco’s Cyber Monday sale (while supplies last, of course).
Nov. 28: Thanksgiving Day Sale
Curl up at home with your pumpkin pie and your laptop to check out these online-only deals. Costco stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but the savings will continue online (on the website and in Costco’s app). On this day, when you spend $400, you’ll get $50 off (as long as you’re purchasing qualifying items).
Nov. 29 – Dec. 2: Black Friday Sale
While in its ad Costco refers to these sale dates as Holiday Savings, they do overlap with Black Friday and we anticipate Costco will be referring to the deals available during this time as Black Friday deals, since that is what it has done in the past. During this time you can expect to see w wide range of deals on tech gadgets, smart home accessories, toys and more giftable items.
Dec. 2: Cyber Monday Sale
While Costco warehouses will be open on Dec. 2, the savings on Cyber Monday are exclusively online.

What time does Costco open on Black Friday?
Costco warehouses open at their usual time on Black Friday: 10 a.m. (Note that select Costco stores have different hours, so call ahead or search your location online if you want to double check your location’s regular operating hours).
Do I need a Costco membership to shop on Black Friday?
Yes, you do need to be a Costco member to access most of the retailer’s Black Friday deals. Select items will be available for purchase to those with a Costco ShopCard gift card. Right now, when you sign up for a Costco Gold Star membership, and enroll in auto renewal, you’ll receive a $20 Costco Shop Card.
