What happened to Jane.com? (A big update!)
If you’ve been wondering what happened to Jane.com since it shut down unexpectedly almost a year ago, we have a big update for you!
What happened to the old Jane.com?
Many of you might remember that last year in November 2023, Jane.com unexpectedly shut down without warning — leaving many customers, sellers, employees, and affiliates very confused. It came as a complete shock to all of us here at MoneySavingMom.com, since we had been posting their deals for over a decade prior to that!
Since our aim is always to run our site with complete transparency and serve our readers well, we wrote an entire blog post about it when the shutdown occurred. If you haven’t read that, you can click here to do so.
Jane.com set for relaunch!
We just recently learned that Jane.com is set to relaunch under brand new ownership. Their mission is to earn back trust with their sellers and customers and hopefully rebuild the site back up to what it used to be (and even better!).
These are some of the changes they plan to make with the new Jane site:
- More secure and timely payments for sellers with Stripe
- Jane Daily Deals every 24 hours
- Better customer service
If you were a Jane customer in the past, you can even fill out a survey giving them your feedback!
They are currently hiring for many positions, plus taking applications from sellers. You can click here to see all of the business opportunities with the newly reimagined and revived Jane.com website.
It will be very interesting to see what the new relaunched site is like and if they’re able to build back the trust of former employees, customers, and sellers. We’re hoping the new owners are able to make good on this promise!
